Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former twice world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually happening.
