Nineteen of Daniil Medvedev's 21 titles have been achieved on hardcourt
A comeback the Russian player won his maiden title for 882 days with success over Frenchman Moutet in the Almaty Open final.
Medvedev, a former world number one, has endured a difficult period, achieving just one match at the big events and suffering a meltdown at the New York tournament.
Medvedev's varied form on the professional circuit - and issues with his serving in specific - led to him falling of the world's top 10 and ultimately parting ways with long-term trainer Gilles Cervara.
Currently collaborating with Johansson and his other coach, the tennis star has steadily progressed in the last few weeks - peaking in a hard-fought three-set victory over Frenchman Corentin Moutet.
It is his initial title after the Italian tournament and maiden on a hard surface from spring of the previous year.
Success also signifies he has secured twenty-one championships at 21 different competitions.
"It's the first time I'm at a competition with my two daughters at once, so to get a championship is especially meaningful," said world number 14 Daniil Medvedev.
"This title is in tribute of my younger daughter Victoria, because the maiden victory I achieved when my child my daughter was born was for her."
The tennis star, the 2021 US Open champion, had been defeated in his previous six championship matches, comprising in the German tournament earlier this year.
The player's retrieving play style and frequent emotional displays on the tennis court had led commentators to doubt if his capacity to play at the elite level was over.
Yet the player has altered his approach in the past month, attempting to advance forward and perform positively, reinforced by an enhanced serve.
Medvedev recovered from a deficit in the first set against the tricky Frenchman, taking four of the last five points to take the lead.
Both players exchanged break points in the middle set before Moutet, bidding for his initial professional championship, gained dominance to create a third set.
He defended 4 early-game opportunities in a close third set before the Russian won the break to 15 to serve for the match.
Fittingly, the winner secured victory with a rally at the net, with his opponent failing to manage a volley after over two and a half hours.
